This error appears whenever the domain of the Post URL does not match the Blog URL associated with your profile. This most often occurs when you make the switch from HTTP to HTTPS. The solution to this problem is to change the Blog URL associated with your account from your old Blog URL to your new Blog URL. After making the change, you should then be able to verify your Blog Post. Below are the steps for how to change your Blog URL:
1. After signing in, click your name in the top right corner of the screen and select Site Settings
2. Click the Change button underneath "Site URL"
3. Type in your current Blog URL into the box and click Change
